Bimetallic Compression Ferrule Connector Lug Ring Terminal for Cu-Al
BI-METALLIC LUGS
SOCOME Bi-metal connector are made from the highest quality aluminium and copper joined using a friction welding process

 The barrels are filled with a jointing compound, which breaks the oxide layers on the aluminium.

The type test is follow lEC61238-1 Barrels are supplied capped and filled with jointing compound to avoid oxidation of the aluminum conductor and the material: 99.9% purity copper & 99.5% purity aluminum.

The transition section between aluminum and copper is produced by friction welding,bending 180°,no breaking welding.Barrels are supplied capped and filled with jointing compound to avoid oxidation of the aluminum conductor.
